Занятия начнутся в сентябре 2011 и затем, будут проходить по 2 в месяц на протяжении полугода. Проводит занятия опытный преподаватель из Соединенных Штатов Америки Кристина Демкович. Кристина в настоящее время работает в Киеве над книгой об образовательной реформе в Украине. Своих учеников она приглашает в исторические места города и на театральные представления и выставки для тематических экскурсий.
В экскурсионную группу набираются дети от 7 до 12 лет,
максимальное количество учеников – 8 человек
Первое занятие запланировано на воскресенье, 25 сентября. Сбор в 13.00 на Трухановом острове.
Стоимость занятия для одного ученика – 200 грн.
После первой экскурсии будет возможность подписаться на пять или десять занятий.

Sign up now for 10 exciting English-language lessons with excursions to new attractions and places of historical interest in Kyiv during the fall season.
Beginnning at the end of September 2011 and then proceeding twice each month until the end of the semester, students will attend lessons on weekends with experienced educator and U.S. journalist Christine Demkowych. Ms. Demkowych is currently in Kyiv working on a book on education reform in Ukraine and during her stay in Kyiv has taken students to the Taras Shevchenko National Opera House, the Natural History Museum, the Dinosaur Exhibit on «Spivocheh Poleh», the Water Museum, the book store near the world map at Dream House, and many other attractions.
The maximum number of students in each class is 8.
Classes are intended for children between the ages of 7 and 12.
The first class will take place on September 25, 2011. The cost per each student for the first class will be 200 UAH (hryvnias) and will take place on Trukhaniv Ostriv. After this lesson you can sign up for either a half package or full package of 10 lessons.
